CALGARY, Alta. — The Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA) will do its part to educate the public about the realities of trucking in a one-hour television program airing this weekend.

The AMTA has teamed up with several other Alberta organizations, businesses and communities to produce a one-hour program to be aired on Access Television, called Alberta: Building a Better Future.

The program airs Saturday, June 29 at 1 p.m. with a re-run that night at 2 a.m. It will air again on Saturday July 6 at 1 p.m. with a rerun slated for 1:30 a.m. July 6.

The trucking group says the one-hour program will focus on Alberta, its communities, its economy and its future. It will highlight the success stories of the groups and businesses that take part in its production.
