Mack’s Flaherty Retires, Stephen Roy Named President

GREENSBORO, NC – Mack Trucks has announced that Stephen Roy has been named President of North American Sales & Marketing, effective January 1, 2014.

Roy succeed Kevin Flaherty, who is retiring after more than 40 years of dedicated service.

Roy has led the company’s aftermarket business since 2008, and in his 25-year trucking career, has been involved “in virtually every aspect of the business, including truck sales, service, aftermarket parts, financing/leasing, and telematics,” Mack said.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural mechanization technology from the University of Georgia, and an MBA from Wake Forest University.

“With aggressive growth plans in place, and significant investments continuing in our products and industrial system, this is a particularly exciting time for Mack Trucks,” Roy said. “I look forward to helping our team realize Mack’s full potential in this market.”
