Meet Ontario’s Transportation Minister at the OTA Convention

TORONTO- Ontario Minister of Transportation Steven Del Duca said he’ll attend the Chairman’s Reception at the 88th annual Ontario Trucking Association convention, held Nov. 12, 2014.
Attendees will have a chance to discuss recent initiatives or other topics, such as mandatory entry level training, the B-train extension, mandatory ELDs, roll stability technology or LCV permits or others, with the minister.

The reception takes place at the Ritz Carlton in Toronto on Wednesday November 12, between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The convention runs from Nov. 12 to Nov. 13. Among those on the agenda are speakers such as the founders of 1-800-GOT-JUNK and chair of Lakeport Brewing, who will tell their stories about extreme competition and surviving tough times; the Internet’s top rated futurist, who will share his transportation vision of the future, and a medal-winning fighter pilot, who will motivate and inspire.

There will also be an awards dinner and the association’s Next Gen program, where up-and-coming managers and future leaders can network and discuss the issues that are important to them.
