Meritor axle named top 20 prod by magazine
TROY, Mich. – ArvinMeritor announced today that its Meritor 14X tandem drive axle has been recognized as one of the “Top 20 Products for 2010,” by Heavy Duty Trucking Magazine.
The award presentation took place at the annual Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) meeting in Tampa, Fla.
The award recognizes innovative products introduced in 2010 that contribute to the bottom line.
The Meritor 14X is "an advanced evolutionary axle system" built on the legacy of the RT145.
The new axle was created to maximize performance and ensure efficiency for North American truck operators.
"The market reaction to the 14X has been fantastic and we have received tens of thousands of orders to equip heavy duty trucks with this great new product,” said Matthew Stevenson, director of marketing, ArvinMeritor.
