TORONTO, Ont. — Truck World will be the epicenter of National Trucking Week festivities, especially on Sept. 28, with truckloads of free entertainment, special events and fabulous giveaways.

This year’s National Trucking Week takes place from Sept. 22-29.

Truck World will mark the special week by holding National Trucking Week Appreciation/Family Day on the Saturday with an entire day of special events for the whole family.

Show attendees on Saturday will be able to enter to win “Trucker Appreciation Gift Boxes” which contain fabulous items that every trucker would want to own. A draw will also be made for a free trip for two anywhere Air Canada flies. The draw for the free airfare will be made noon on Saturday at the show.

National Trucking Week, primarily coordinated by the Canadian Trucking Alliance, is a time set aside each year to spotlight the important contributions made by the 400,000 Canadian men and women who keep the country’s freight moving.

It is also an opportunity to raise community awareness of the vital contributions made by the trucking industry to the economy and Canadian’s quality of life.
