New President and COO Take the Helm at Day & Ross

Doug Harrison moves into the COO chair at Day & Ross.

HARTLAND, NB — Day & Ross announced today the appointment of Larry Rodo to the position of President and Doug Harrison to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Rodo is moving over from Brinks USA, where he also held the presidential position. Rodo has previously held senior executive roles with Nadiscorp, Schenker and Reimer Express Lines. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto and is a graduate of the CITT’s professional certification program.

In the COO role, Doug Harrison will have responsibility for the company’s overall strategy, a number of its support groups and its four operating companies.

Harrison joined Day & Ross in 2011 as President of Day & Ross Freight. Doug has held various senior executive positions within the transportation and logistics industry and is recognized as a leader in the sector, serves on a number of volunteer and company boards.

Both men are active speakers and presenters at numerous industry events.
