OTA to supply accident reporting kits

TORONTO — The Ontario Trucking Association has announced yet another supplier venture by entering into an exclusive provincial arrangement with Trieagle Marketing Team to provide members with more compliance product options, the centerpiece of which will be an accident reporting kit.

The kit will instruct a carriers’ driver to record all pertinent information required by insurance companies and the legal system, says OTA President David Bradley. Properly used, the will significantly assist carriers with their insurance companies following a collision.

It includes a flash camera with 27 pictures; flashlight with battery; measuring tape; ball point pen; crayon; and accident reporting form. The kit is packaged in a pouch that will easily fit in a truck’s glove box. Custom or private labeling is available for the pouch (color and graphics), the camera and forms.

Rounding out the additional exclusive Ontario product line offered through OTA of Trieagle Marketing product is driver first aid kits and pocket size LED flashlights.

Earlier this week, OTA signed another national arrangement with One Seal Inc. to supply C-TPAT-compliant trailer seals for the trucking industry.

The OneSeal patented 79-T96 flexible High Security bolt seal, which is the only truly flexible bolt seal in the world, offers carriers, their customers, and their drivers compliance with C-TPAT standards and peace of mind in knowing the removal of the seal will be trouble-free, OTA says.
