TORONTO — The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) is now offering members a long distance savings plan.

OTA has partnered with Worldline Inc., Canada’s fastest growing telecommunications company. Worldline services are presently being used by some of Canada’s leading media companies including Sun Media, Transcontinental Media and CanWest Global.

Under the OTA-Worldline plan, OTA members, their staff and their families enjoy unlimited long distance calling anywhere in Canada for $3.95 per month. Unique to the plan is the ability for an OTA member, and its participating users, to add their cell phone number and enjoy unlimited cellular long distance to anywhere in Canada for no additional cost.

A second plan, $13.95 per month, is also offered to members for unlimited calling to Canada, the U.S. and 26 international countries.

Both of these services can be cancelled at any time with no penalties attached to the cancellation.

“Under this OTA-Worldline plan, members do not need to change phone companies or phone numbers; members can retain their current telecommunications provider and still enjoy long distance savings,” said OTA manager of membership Joanne Benac.
