PMTC wants artistic trucks
MISSISSAUGA — Carriers who think of the side of their van trailers as a blank sheet of canvas should heed the call of The Private Motor Truck Council of Canada, which is once again calling for entries for its 22nd Annual Vehicle Graphics Design Awards competition.
Co-sponsored every year of their existence by 3M Canada’s Commercial Graphics Division, the awards recognize truck fleet operators (private or for-hire) and design companies who graphically enhance their vehicles. The competition is open to all Canadian fleet operators; and the entry deadline is May 1, 2007.
“These awards reflect one of the positive images of the trucking industry,” says Bruce Richards, PMTC President. “Through the Vehicle Graphics Design Awards competition, the PMTC is able to promote the work of fleet operators and graphic houses. ”
“The public responds well to these rolling billboards, and the fleets take enormous pride in their appearance,” says Richards. “Companies that use fleet graphics while delivering their products are making the best possible use of the marketing opportunities that their fleet offers.”
