Re-man Brakes from ArvinMeritor

ArvinMeritor now offers a line of remanufactured brake shoes and kits supplied to exacting original equipment tolerances.

The line spans more than 300 remanufactured shoes and 250 remanufactured kits that cover nearly 90 different brake types and sizes with 12 separate Meritor friction materials available.

ArvinMeritor trained assembly technicians inspect the core for excessive wear. Cores are rejected for several factors that could affect performance, including: corroded tables, deformed web, elongated anchor pin holes or slots, elongated rivet holes, broken welds, bent tables or flattened roller slots. After the initial inspection process the shoes are put through a comprehensive process of remanufacturing, including: washing, de-lining, shot blasting, re-lining, riveting and a final quality inspection before being shipped.
