Ridewell Rolls Out Steerable Suspension
Ridewell’s new RAR- 240-LKS steerable trailer air suspension is designed for heavy-duty use, with a capacity of 25,000 pounds and up to 20-degrees of wheel cut. The suspension can handle dual or wide-based-single tires, and is available with a fully dressed leading kingpin axle. It features positive axle lock in reverse, heavy-duty shocks, and an optional lift kit.
At a 14-inch mounting height, the axle travel is five inches up and 4.6 inches down, though other mounting heights are available. The axle’s alignment is manually adjustable using the company’s “eccentric” bolt.
