REDFORD, Mich. — The Road Hammers have kicked off a Canadian tour, sponsored by Western Star Trucks.

In addition to playing in 30 cities across Canada, the trucking music band led by Jason McCoy will also be stopping at Western Star dealerships to sign autographs and meet with fans.

The band is riding a high after being named the Canadian Country Music Awards’ 2005 Group of the Year. Their self-titled debut album has already hit number one across the country music sales charts in Canada.

“The Western Star brand is close to the hearts of many truckers in North America,” said Ann Demitruk, director of marketing for Western Star Trucks. “The Road Hammers are a talented group that pays a great
tribute to today’s truckers and we are very excited to welcome them to our dealerships and co-sponsor their tour.”

“We are honored to be associated with Western Star trucks,” added 2004 Male Vocalist of the Year, McCoy. “The Road Hammers are the best band on the road and it’s nice to be riding with the best trucks on the road!”
