ST. JOHN’S, Nfld. — Newfoundland’s Minister of Works, Services and Transportation, Percy Barrett, says plans are in the works to upgrade roads in the district of Windsor-Springdale.

“Government understands the need for upgrades to roads in this area,” says Barrett. “As a result, we have decided to resurface a section of Route 380, beginning at South Brook, which will improve driving conditions on this section of the highway.”

The department expects to call tenders for the projects over the next several weeks.
