MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – PeopleNet, a provider of onboard computing and mobile communications systems, has announced that Robert Heath Trucking, Inc., a provider of refrigerated transportation services, has installed PeopleNet’s tracking and mobile communications system throughout its fleet of 150 power units.

Heath turned to PeopleNet after its previous provider discontinued service and support on their equipment. “We were looking for improved accuracy in transmitting and receiving messages to and from our drivers,” said the company’s president, Jody Heath. “We needed a system that was fully compatible with the TMW power suite that we use for dispatch and we need the messages to get through to our drivers in a reliable and timely fashion.”
