Saskatchewan begins to enforce spring load restrictions

REGINA (March 2) — Saskatchewan Highways and Transportation has begun to enforce spring road restrictions on various provincial highways and municipal roads across Saskatchewan.

The spring load restrictions are generally in effect for a six-week period. The department and rural municipalities may change these restrictions with 48 hours notice.

The publication schedule for spring road restrictions has been changed from each Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, the province announced, to twice a week on Tuesday and Friday during the road restriction season.

Recorded road restriction information is available 24 hours a day by calling any of the provincial Highway Hotline road information numbers.
