OTTAWA, Ont. — This November 20th, International GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Day, the Canadian Transportation Research Forum (CTRF), in collaboration with the University of Ottawa, and with the support of Transport Canada, will be hosting a focused half day conference on innovative approaches to the use of GIS in informing transportation sector decision making.

This morning event will feature panel presentations and roundtable discussions focused on the use of GIS by industry, government policy makers and planners as well as academic researchers.

This event will be of relevance to all those involved in transportation sector analysis, research, planning and decision making.

The cost is only $25 for CTRF members and $50 for non-CTRF members. Students are invited to participate at no cost, with prior registration.
