STEMCO buys boat-tail maker ATDynamics
LONGVIEW, TX- STEMCO purchased ATDynamics, Inc., which designs, manufactures and supplies a suite of clean technology products engineered to reduce fuel consumption and carbon emissions in the global freight transportation industry.
The business will become part of the Innovative Tire & Mileage Solutions (ITMS) group of STEMCO, which also offers automatic tire inflation systems, Aeris and Aeris SmartSense.
“The acquisition of ATDynamics aligns with our strategic direction to assist our fleet customers in improving fuel efficiency and increasing tire life,” said Todd Anderson, president of STEMCO. “It continues to build a solid platform from which we can offer a more complete line of aerodynamic products.”
Bob Montgomery, VP of STEMCO ITMS group will lead the combined business.
