Swift names new president
PHOENIX, Ariz. — Richard Stocking has been promoted to president and CEO of Phoenix-based Swift Transportation, taking over for company founder Jerry Moyes.
Moyes will continue in his role as CEO, chairman, and president of parent company Swift Corp.
Stocking will have overall responsibility for Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Dedicated, Temperature Controlled, Mexico Operations and Information Technology, with additional functions transitioning to him in a timely manner.
