TORONTO, Ont. — The Transportation Health and Safety Association of Ontario (THSAO) is holding its annual educational conference at the Deerhurst Resort in Huntsville, Ont. Oct. 21-23.

The organization says the event will bring together professionals from the trucking and courier industries as well as insurance providers and members of other related businesses. Topics up for discussion will include driver training, staff development and risk management techniques, the organization says.

More than 140 people are expected to attend the conference. The theme this year is "The Evolution of Training Then, Now and Beyond."

The conference includes a look back at the trucking industry’s "rich, vibrant history," the organization says. Motivational speakers and educational seminars will also be held throughout the event.
