TMW Systems buys trucking software provider
CLEVELAND, Ohio — TMW Systems, the largest provider of enterprise management software to the transportation industry in North America, has acquired Integrated Support Decision Corporation (IDSC) — an independent provider of optimization-based decision support software for the trucking industry.
With IDSC’s decision support solutions, and TMW’s leading ERP and fleet maintenance applications, TMW can provide a seamless solution for the results-driven trucking company, or focused complementary solutions that address specific needs, says Dave Wangler, president and CEO of TMW Systems.
In addition, IDSC’s TruckloadRate.com and FuelAdvice.com add significant strength to TMW’s broad portfolio of Internet based applications.
Customers of both companies will benefit from this acquisition through expanded products and services, broader geographic reach and greater scale, the companies say. As an early indication of its commitment, TMW Systems has extended its Lifetime Support Policy to include IDSC’s entire product line.
