TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Trucking Association (TTA) is holding its 2006 convention at RIU Jalisco in Vallarta Nayarit, Mexico.

The convention is taking place Feb. 3-10 at the five-star all-inclusive resort, which is 15 minutes north of Puerto Vallarta’s International airport.

"It stretches over the beautiful north coastal strip of Banderas Bay, a zone blessed by nature where one can find the most exuberant and beautiful ecosystems in the area, with an unequalled climate and wonderful white sand beaches," the TTA says. "The RIU Jalisco lies on a long stretch of white sand beach in a beautiful natural setting."

The organization is inviting members to attend the convention which will include business sessions. It says its price and accommodations are "first rate." Those interested in attending should sign up by Sept. 23. Space is limited, so the TTA advises to register soon. For more information, call 416-248-6211.
