TTA to host economic overview luncheon

TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Trucking Association (TTA) is hosting a luncheon seminar which will provide an economic overview presented by Dr. Tim O’Neill.

O’Neill has served as the executive vice-president and chief economist with BMO Financial Group from 1994-2005. He’s now founder and principal of O’Neill Strategic Economics and was recently appointed as the H. Ian MacDonald visiting economist for the Ontario Ministry of Finance.

O’Neill will be reviewing the 2005 Canadian economy and will offer a look ahead at what 2006 will have in store for Canadian businesses. The luncheon is slated for Nov. 16 with registration to begin at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch and then O’Neill’s presentation. It’s being held at the Weston Golf and Country Club and the cost is $58.85 for TTA members and $101.65 for non-members.
