MONTREAL, Que. — Dicom Transportation has signed a deal with DDC Group to handle its back office systems, marking the service provider’s first foray into the Canadian market.

DDC FPO will be used by Dicom to improve business process management (BPM). The new BPM model will provide Dicom with robust business intelligence, new integration capabilities and improved time efficiency and service quality for its customers, the companies announced.

The rollout will occur throughout July and includes customized, multi-lingual programs for bills of lading and parcel invoice processing.

”DDC FPO are the best at what they do. They are the only true experts of transportation business processes available today,” said Scott Dobak, CEO of Dicom Transportation Group. “Our work together will reap long-term benefits for Dicom customers and allies.”

“Dicom has a vigorous pursuit of continuous improvement,” said Chad Crotty, DDC FPO’s vice-president of sales. “We are honoured that Dicom is one of our first partners in Canada, and we can’t wait to see what this new market has in store for us.”
