WINNIPEG, Man. — Bison Transport has been recognized by Forbes as one of Canada’s best employers.

Bison was one of 12 organizations from the transportation sector and the only trucking company to receive the award.

“It’s an honour to receive this level of recognition and a real tribute to the incredible people in our organization,” said Linda Young, vice-president of human resources and people development at Bison. “We’re very performance driven at Bison, but there’s also a strong family atmosphere. We all know each other, we have a great team and we’re all working towards the same thing, so we support each other in our pursuit of success.”

Bison was one of 250 employers recognized by Forbes, based on an independent survey of 8,000 Canadian employees who work for large companies and institutions. Full results can be found here.
