Newcom partners with HFUSA to launch North American Commercial Vehicle Show

by Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. – Newcom Business Media has partnered with Hannover Fairs USA (HFUSA), a subsidiary of Deutsche Messe, to organize and manage the inaugural North American Commercial Vehicle Show (NACV), which will debut Sept. 25-29, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia.

The show will focus on the commercial fleet and heavy truck market, and will consist of more than 300,000 square-feet of exhibition space, allowing suppliers, commercial vehicle OEMs and those in the supply chain to meet and address the needs of the North American commercial vehicle industry market. The show will target fleet owners, owner-operators, commercial and light commercial vehicle dealers, distributors, repair shops, truck manufacturers and the commercial vehicle trade media.

“The new North American Commercial Vehicle Show is a perfect fit with Deutsche Messe’s commercial vehicle events portfolio,” said president and CEO of HFUSA Larry Turner. “HFUSA and Newcom are uniquely positioned to develop and organize this new event while working with the industry to guarantee the needs of all participants are met.”

NACV will be held on alternating years from the Deutsche Messe hosted and Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V. (VDA) owned IAA Commercial Vehicle trade show held in Hannover, Germany during even years.

“We look forward to working with HFUSA to leverage Deutsche Messe and Newcom’s commercial vehicle event expertise, experience and sales network to gain a strong position in the United States with major manufacturers and pertinent industry associations,” said vice-president and general manager of Newcom Business Media Joe Glionna of the North American Commercial Vehicle Show Partnership.

Newcom also organizes the Canadian-based ExpoCam trade show, as well as Truck World, which is currently underway in Toronto from April 14-16.

Deutsche Messe also organizes China Commercial Vehicle in Wuhan, China, and has maintained a very successful partnership with VDA for the IAA show in Germany since 1992.
