Penske Truck Leasing to open new Cambridge location

CAMBRIDGE, Ont. — Penske Truck Leasing will be celebrating the opening of its newest facility in Cambridge, Ontario this Tuesday, April 24

National Hockey League Hall of Famer Darryl Sittler will officially welcome attendees to the grand opening ceremony.

The new 18,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility, currently employing 23 associates, offers commercial and consumer truck rental services, full-service truck leasing and contract maintenance. About 40 leasing customers are handled at this nine-acre location, and over 400 vehicles are maintained onsite.

The facility cost approximately $6 million CAD to construct, and has four service bays, a truck washing bay and a two-lane fuel island with high-speed fuel pumps for fast, efficient service.

Penske has operated locally for nearly seven years with previous locations in Kitchener and Cambridge.

The one-story building incorporates Penske Truck Leasings new facility design elements and features state-of-the-art technology to enhance the customer experience. The wireless technology component allows Penske service technicians to integrate various vehicle diagnostic and repair software.

In Canada, Penske employs nearly 900 associates at 33 locations, 18 in Ontario.
