Stemco names new v.p. and suspension product manager

by Truck News

LONGVIEW, Texas – Stemco Suspension Products has named Donnie Wells as its new vice-president and general manager of suspension products following the company’s recent acquisition of Goodyear Air Springs.

“The integration of Goodyear Air Springs has added a new dimension of product offerings to Stemco’s suspension products,” said Stemco president Todd Anderson. “(Wells’) strong track record of industry experience and his leadership will help us continue that integration as we work to further strengthen Stemco’s market-leading position in the commercial trucking industry.”

Wells, who came from Compressor Products International, also of Stemco’s parent company, Enpro Industries, will lead the business’ suspension products, which includes Stemco Kaiser, Gaff and Equipment, as well as newly-acquired Goodyear Air Springs product families.

Wells replaces Jon Cocco, who had joined the Stemco family from Veyance Technologies during the company’s purchase of Goodyear Air Springs last July.

Stemco has offices in various US states, Canada, Australia, China and Mexico, and manufactures commercial vehicle wheel end, braking and suspension components, as well as tire and mileage solutions.
