TORONTO, Ont. — Trucktax has introduced TruckersBooks, a bookkeeping management spreadsheet software customized for truckers. The software is designed to help truckers manage their bookkeeping information and source documents, as well as GST return filings with access to professional financial reports – all without having to call their bookkeeper.

Developed in MS Excel, the software allows truckers to enter income and expenses in Canadian and/or US funds, with an automated GST-HST management and return filing system, designed to eliminate the need to manually pick up the GST-HST charged across operating provinces.

TruckersBooks includes a document management system to support tax audits as well as an automated upload feature that allows users to send a copy of the spreadsheet data to an accountant on a monthly basis or to Trucktax for general ledger management.

“TruckersBooks, with its printer ready Profit/Loss Statement and Cash Flow Report and Operating Analysis Report, will allow truckers to know their business-side of trucking numbers without the need for bookkeeping experience or software training,” officials said in a release.

TruckersBooks software is available for both Canadian and US truckers. For more information, visit www.truckersbooks.com or call 888-456-6504.
