TTA to hold seminar on workplace safety and insurance issues

TORONTO, Ont. — The Toronto Trucking Association will be hosting a luncheon seminar to discuss workplace safety and insurance issues Jan. 25. Les Liversidge, a WSIB adjudicator, manager, consultant and lawyer, will be speaking on a variety of topics including experience rating (NEER), owner/operators, early safe return to work policies, premium rates and WSI impacts regarding mandatory retirement legislation. Liversidge has over 30 years experience in workplace safety and insurance law and appears regularly before the WSIB and Appeals Tribunal.

The luncheon will be held at the Weston Golf and Country Club at noon. Price for TTA members is $63.60 and $106 for non-members. For more information visit www.torontotrucking.org.
