AirIQ touts record subscriber growth (November 01, 2001)

PICKERING, Ont. – AirIQ says its total contracted subscriber base has increased by more than 21 per cent in the past three weeks.

“This underscores the success of our strategic efforts to capitalize on the fast-growing opportunities in the North American telematics industry,” says Donald Simmonds, president and chief executive officer of the Pickering, Ont.-based AirIQ.

AirIQ is a wireless application service provider specializing in the location and management of vehicle fleets.

The total value of AirIQ’s subscriber service contracts to date is approximately $21.9 million.
