LAVAL, Que. – BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires has named the winner of its 2001 Cool Rigs contest: Julia and Tom Dellamastra of Blue Line Distribution of Milton, Ont.

The lucky winners qualified for the grand prize of 10 free BFGoodrich tires as well as a pair of Costa Del Mar sunglasses, valued at more than $200. In addition, the winning truck will be featured in the BFGoodrich Commercial Truck Tires 2002 ‘Cool Rigs’ Calendar distributed throughout North America.

“The entries received were outstanding,” says Dougie Macdonald, BFGoodrich market segment manager for Canada. “Julia and Tom’s truck struck us by the level of details and the impressive artwork on its sides (an eagle, and both Canadian and U.S. flags). It must be hard not to notice it on the road.”

The contest was open to truckers in the U.S., Mexico and Canada. Judging criteria included overall aspect, originality, vehicle appearance, special add-ons and uniqueness of application.
