QUIDI VIDI, Nfld. – Residents of Quidi Vidi vowed recently to jam the highway with human bodies in an effort to block cement trucks headed for a proposed housing development.

The site, in a tiny fishing village near St. John’s, overlooks a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean.

Residents insist the luxury homes will block what is one of the top tourist draws in the area.
