Train profits derailed (December 01, 2001)
MONTREAL, Que. – Canada’s leading rail freight movers are showing signs of the economic slowdown as lower traffic levels begin to eat into their revenues.
Canadian Pacific Railway warned investors it expects lower profits for this quarter, at the same time Canadian National Railway announced it will maintain profits, but not without more cuts.
