DON MILLS, Ont. – As the war on terrorism evolves around the world, Truck News and Motortruck recognize how important it is for fleets and truckers to know about tie-ups at the border before your truck arrives.

“To this end, we’ve launched a new section on our Web site,” says John Curran, editor of Truck News and trucknews.com. “Surfing truckers can now simply click on ‘Border Info’ and they’ll get the most recent status reports on Canada’s busiest commercial crossings.”

The new feature actually ties into the Canada Customs site to get the best information available at any given time.

“We at Truck News and Motortruck understand the current situation at the border has been very unpleasant for those who keep the North American economy rolling,” concludes Curran. “Canada’s truckers should be commended for the patience and restraint they’ve maintained under these extremely taxing conditions.” –
