TRUXPO less than two months away; registration open

ABBOTSFORD, B.C. – Western Canada’s largest trucking event will return this year, running from May 13-14 at Abbotsford, B.C.’s Tradex complex, and will be the only major transport industry show in the area to include all aspects of the trucking industry.

TRUXPO 2016 will include educational conference sessions with a speaker series organized by SafetyDriven – Trucking Safety Council of B.C., aimed at educating and informing with a focus on health and safety in the transportation industry.

The conference sessions are scheduled for Friday and will include Standard of Care – It Saves to be Safe, with Grant Aune of Advantage Fleet Services; I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead, with Mike Harnett of SIX Safety Systems; and Simple Steps for a Longer, Healthier, Happier Life, with Dr. Art Hister.

The Pacific Heavy Equipment Show, B.C.’s ‘Big Iron Showcase,’ will take place in conjunction with TRUXPO.

TRUXPO, which is presented in partnership with the B.C. Trucking Association, will also feature Recruiting Here, which helps connect job seekers with hiring companies; a Show and Shine with show and work trucks; and entertainment by Total Rewind Band, with a tailgate party Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 2 p.m.
