Bison wants to know ‘what drives you’

by Truck West

WINNIPEG, Man. – What motivates you to get behind the wheel of your truck and travel the endless North American highways?

This is what Bison Transport wants to know, as the company launched its ‘What Drives You’ campaign Jan. 1, which aims to promote the myriad of reasons transportation industry professionals do what they do each and every day.

“We see this as a great opportunity for members of the trucking industry to share what keeps them moving every day,” said Lionel Johnston, corporate marketing manager at Bison. “It also provides us with a chance to learn more about our workforce and better serve them.”

The social media initiative looks for drivers to share ‘what drives them’, whether it be a love of the open road, the opportunity to travel, or the importance of supporting their families. Those who do share their story will have a chance to receive a diecast model truck, which will be awarded at random at the end of the campaign, Jan. 31 at 11:59 p.m. CST.

To share what drives you, follow Bison Transport Recruiting on Facebook, ‘like’ the contest post and comment on their wall or your own timeline using the hashtag #TellBisonWhatDrivesYou.

  • I believe Bison needs to revise their pay rates. Lots of miles but at a below average rate. Good equipment though. This contributes to the imaginary driver shortage.

  • Inflation affects everyone. Even bison transports part time drivers. Does bison now feel they have been paying their part timers too much as part timers gave not been included in the tecent pay raises?
