AI voice guidance added to Trucker Path navigation
Trucker Path has partnered with Acapela Group to introduce custom AI-generated navigation voices for truck drivers using the Trucker Path mobile app.
The companies said the new embedded text-to-speech technology will provide more natural, human-sounding voice guidance for drivers using the navigation platform. The voices operate directly on-device within the app.
“We’re proud to partner with Trucker Path to bring our new, embedded, custom-built AI voices to the trucking community,” said Remy Cadic, CEO of Acapela Group. “Our goal is to create voices that are lifelike, expressive, and tailored to enhance the Trucker Path app experience.”
Chris Oliver, chief marketing officer at Trucker Path, said the goal is to improve safety and driver confidence by making navigation prompts easier to follow and more natural.
“By integrating Acapela’s custom text-to-speech technology into our app, we’re helping professional drivers navigate more safely and confidently with guidance that feels truly human,” Oliver said.
