Aperia launches Halo Connect i3

by Today's Trucking

Aperia has introduced its Halo Connect i3 platform, giving fleets more ways to enhance their tire management programs.

Introduced at the Technology & Maintenance Council’s spring meetings, the company says the new platform goes beyond tire pressure monitoring and tire inflation. New offerings include the ability adjust remote pressure set points, set configurable alerts and customize their inflation settings.

It’s a two-way communication system using Bluetooth, RF, CAN, GPS, and LTE connectivity.

“Imagine receiving customized real-time alerts for abnormal tire pressure, temperature, or vibration issues. This allows you to monitor performance, minimize costly roadside breakdowns, and make adjustments to your tire program with over-the-air communication,” said Ralph Dimenna, chief commercial officer.

Aperia says it now has 1 million tires under management and algorithms that have been trained over 100 billion miles. The new system can be installed within five minutes per wheel end.
