Armor Max ESD tire designed for extreme work

Goodyear is expanding its Armor Max tire lineup to include the Armor Max Extreme Service Drive (ESD) tire – a mixed-service model for extreme environments.

The Armor Max ESD is now available in 11R22.5 H and 11R24.5 H sizes for heavy-duty construction, logging, oil and mining work vehicles. Its tread compound helps resist cuts, chips and tears, the company adds.

Other features include a 32/32 tread design, optimized tread geometry to resist stone holding, and an enhanced under-tread to protect against stone drilling and improve casing durability.

The sidewall design also allows treads to be placed above tread blocks.
