Bandag MaxTread lineup offered as single-unit tires

Bridgestone has unveiled a new lineup of Bandag retreads that will be offered as single-unit tires rather than traditional caps and casings.

The Bandag MaxTread lineup includes eight tread patterns to support light trucks, waste, longhaul, severe-service, and pickup and delivery applications. Each is backed by a lifetime limited warranty that offers full coverage for the life of the tread.

Drive positions include Bandag’s BDM, BDLT, BDV, DR5.3 and DR4.3 retread patterns, while trailer positions include the TR4.1 and Eclipse. The all-position tire incorporates the BRM tread.

“MaxTread is an ideal tire solution for fleets of all sizes, particularly small-to-mid-size fleets that may be in the beginning stages of adopting a retreading program and fleets that need a single replacement tire while on the road,” said Keith Iwinski, marketing director – U.S. and Canada, Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations.

Each of the tires is locally manufactured, and the incorporated casings are carefully scanned from bead to bead in under two minutes through the use of shearography, the company adds.
