Brake interlock for tankers
Wabco’s new Intelligent Brake Interlock is designed for tank trailers that haul hazardous materials or are equipped with cryogenic equipment – ensuring that nothing moves when loading and unloading.
The system monitors vehicle speed and the position switch, and electronically locks foundation brakes in place. Its electronic failsafe offers an extra layer of safety by helping to prevent inadvertent brake activations when the vehicle is moving.
It’s now available for specification and retrofit.
