Carrier Transicold updates eSolutions platform

by Today's Trucking

Carrier Transicold has updated its eSolutions telematics platforms used to monitor refrigerated trucks and trailers, adding a new web-based dashboard that delivers critical information.

The platform delivers information about cargo, the operation of transportation refrigeration units, and third-party telematics systems. In addition to data around temperatures, and vehicle locations and movement, it offers analytics and diagnostic information about the refrigeration units.

Widgets on a new dashboard displays parameters like critical fuel levels, movement, reefer operating mode, and whether the parked assets are running on diesel – a key measure for fleets that face idling restrictions.

Geofencing capabilities have been improved, and two-way control capabilities can be used to create customized responses and notifications by email and text, the company says.

Filter buttons on an enhanced live map can be used to isolate units based on a range of criteria, such as equipment that is not in service, running in frozen mode, or other issues.

It’s optimized for 4G cellular networks and can be installed at the factory or retrofitted by a dealer.
