ConMet releases Digital Driver telematics app
ConMet has produced a new Digital Driver telematics app, now available for download on iOS and Android devices.
The app will give drivers access to real-time telematics data to help with asset selection, pre-trip inspections, and failure alerts.
“I am excited about the launch of the ConMet Digital Driver app, a highly anticipated addition to our portfolio,” said Paul Washicko, vice-president and general manager of ConMet Digital. “Making real-time vehicle insights available to drivers helps ensure that each trip starts efficiently and goes smoothly. Issues can be acted upon right away, saving thousands in costs that could multiply if necessary maintenance needs go unnoticed.”
Maintenance and service teams will receive alerts when drivers do, so they can be proactive about repairs. Pre-trip inspections are expedited as the app displays tire inflation data. Real-time health alerts are provided to the driver while en route for a delivery.
“Interpreting telematics data can be challenging, which is why we created the ConMet Digital Driver app. Overall, increased visibility and coordinated alerts keep the fleet maintenance team and the drivers in sync – smoother communication increases efficiency and reliability,” said Isaac Otto, product manager.
