Eaton adds clutch actuators to reman program

by Today's Trucking

Eaton’s Vehicle Group has expanded its remanufacturing program to include electronic clutch actuators used on Eaton UltraShift Plus transmissions.

The remanufacturing business recovers core components from users across North America, returning the components to like-new conduction.

The supplier says it uses improved cleaning processes and advanced inspection techniques to validate weld integrity, helping to ensure components in good working condition are reused whenever possible.

Eaton wants remanufactured products to account for up to 80% of its aftermarket transmissions by 2023.

All factory remanufactured products are backed by the Roadranger sales and service network.
