Eaton expands flywheel portfolio with new part numbers for popular truck applications
Eaton has expanded its aftermarket flywheel portfolio with five new part numbers covering some of the most widely used heavy- and medium-duty truck engines in North America.
The company said the additions are intended to make it easier for fleets, distributors and service providers to source replacement flywheels while helping reduce vehicle downtime.
The new flywheels support applications from Volvo, Caterpillar, Paccar and Detroit Diesel, broadening Eaton’s coverage of the commercial vehicle market.
New part numbers include:
- 249C115 — Volvo VED12 flywheel (20730056)
- 249C117 — Caterpillar 3306 flywheel (4P4613)
- 249C118 — Paccar MX-13 flywheel (1733593)
- 249C119 — Detroit Diesel DD15 automated manual transmission flywheel (A4713007005)
- 249C120 — Detroit Diesel DD15 manual transmission flywheel (A4720301105)
Eaton said the expanded lineup is designed to provide fleets and repair facilities with reliable replacement options for popular truck applications while simplifying maintenance and parts sourcing.
The company added that the new offerings further strengthen its aftermarket drivetrain portfolio for commercial vehicles operating across a wide range of duty cycles.
