Endurant XD available on International trucks
International Trucks now offers the Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technology Endurant XD Series transmission on select models.
The Endurant XD and Endurant XD Pro paired with the Cummins X15 engine are available as part of Cummins’ integrated powertrain in the International LT and HX models. The Endurant is a purpose-built 18-speed automated manual transmission for on-highway applications with high GCWRs.
“For International fleets, the Endurant XD series delivers the capability, efficiency and uptime they demand,” said Dave Karnes, vice-president of sales, Eaton Cummins.
The company says benefits include: smart shifting decisions; performance goals to control transmission shift points; and other features such up to six reverse gears and a suite of GearLogic features for improved efficiency and performance.
