Eroad, Thermo King integrate to share data
Eroad and Thermo King have partnered to share data in a move to improve fleet management.
The partnership allows Eroad to integrate with Thermo King’s TracKing telematics platform, which comes standard on the Precedent line of trailer refrigeration units. It eliminates the need for additional hardware, providing Eroad with access to cloud-based, secure data, the companies announced.
Customers of the two companies can opt in at any time to allow Eroad to access Thermo King telematics. They’ll then be able to monitor temperature data and alarms, and utilize a two-way refrigerated micro-control through the Eroad 360 platform.
“This integration and partnership with Thermo King and Eroad helps advance and support our mutual customers and provides the critical insights in reefer control that shippers and carriers need to ensure they are protecting and serving their customers well,” said Mark Heine, Eroad’s CEO.
