Fixed grille for Kenworth T880S
Kenworth’s T880S with a set-forward front axle now comes with a fixed grille option.
The radiator-mounted grille for the trucks with a 114-inch BBC short hood will allow the hood to open when equipment is mounted to the front of the vehicle. This situation occurs in applications such as snowplows, vacuum trucks, and cranes.
The T880S is offered with a set-forward front axle ranging from 14,600 to 22,800 lb., and is standard with the Paccar MX-13 engine offering up to 510 hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque. For weight-sensitive applications, the 10.8-liter Paccar MX-11 engine is 400 lb. lighter than larger-displacement engines, providing up to 430 hp and 1,650 lb-ft of torque.
