Fleetmatics introduces new Logbook at Truck World

by Truck News

TORONTO, Ont. – Fleetmatics Group unveiled the Fleetmatics Logbook to the Canadian Market during Newcom Business Media’s Truck World event last week.

The new software-based electronic logging solution helps eliminate the ‘hassle’ of paper logs, reduces compliance risk and keeps drivers and dispatchers on the same page.

“With the growing anticipation that the Canadian government may follow the US and mandate electronic logs, more and more Canadian fleet operators are starting to have drivers swap out paper logs for electronic logs,” said Jonathan Durkee, vice-president of product management for Fleetmatics. “Fleetmatics remains committed to helping our Canadian customers make the transition to electronic logging by providing a simple way to help companies stay compliant and up-to-date with current regulations via our mobile app.”

The new product also features fleet tracking, business intelligence and safety management to help customers improve customer service and reduce expenses.
