Great Dane FleetPulse offers flexibility

Great Dane has launched its new FleetPulse trailer telematics system after a three-year development process.

Sensors are hardwired into the trailer to reliably provide accurate data, while component suppliers’ own data will also be integrated into the platform.

Great Dane has already integrated Wabco’s iABS and Grote’s Guardian into the system, providing insights into braking and lighting.

The trailer maker also chose to use non-proprietary sensors, so they can be used in other trailer makes as well. Exactly how fleets use the system will depend on individual needs.

Fleet Pulse is available on Great Dane trailers in the U.S. and Canada.
